CCCMF Meeting
The Carter County Christian Men’s Fellowship will meet Tuesday, April 17, at 7 p.m. at Buffalo Valley Christian Church.
The guest speaker will be Bill Fierbaugh. Following the preaching and worship service, there will be a time of fellowship.

First United Methodist
“There Shall Be Seasons Refreshing” is the title of Sunday morning’s sermon at First United Methodist Church, Elizabethton. The message by Pastor Raymond W. Amos, Sr. is based on the scripture, Acts 3: 12-19.
The worship service begins at 9:55 a.m. Sunday School begins at 11:20 a.m.
The 4:12 Junior High Student Ministries will meet Sunday from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. and the Senior High group will meet from 5:45 to 7:30 p.m. The Coolagers will meet Wednesday at 6 p.m.
The Wednesday evening Bible study is at 6 p.m. in the sanctuary.

First Christian.
Minister Michael Klaus will begin a new series of messages entitled “But Christ…” at morning worship Sunday at First Christian Church, Elizabethton. The service will begin at 9:45 a.m.
David Mills will serve as worship leader for the service. The communion meditation will be given by Charles Hayes. Scripture will be read by David Mills and special music will be by Gene Estep.
Bible school classes are at 11 a.m.
The evening service is at 6 p.m.
The Ladies Bible Study Group led by Paula Manning and Ashleigh McCloud will meet Monday at 6:30 p.m. in the Fidelis Classroom.
The Tuesday morning prayer group led by John Smith will meet at 10 a.m. in the sanctuary.
Wednesday evening Bible study is at 6 p.m. at the church. Visitation teams will also go out at this time.

Bethlehem Lutheran
“As They Walked Along” is the sermon theme for the Sunday morning worship service April 15 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Johnson City. The sermon text is Luke 24: 36-49.
Morning worship is at 8 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Communion will be served at both services.
Interpreted services for the deaf are available the second and fourth Sundays at the 10:45 a.m. service.
Bethlehem Lutheran is located at 201 E. Watauga Ave. The pastor is the Rev. Steven Harmon.

Union Baptist
During the month of April, Union Baptist Church, Hampton, will host Super Tuesdays at 7 p.m. each Tuesday. The guest speaker April 17 will be the Rev. Ronnie Campbell, pastor of Beck Mountain Baptist Church; and April 24, Pastor Ray Green of North Carolina.
Union Baptist will also host the Association Children’s Bible Drill April 15 at 5 p.m.
Pastor Wesley Duncan invites the public to attend.
Chinquapin Grove
The 2018 Spring Evangelism Conference at Chinquapin Grove Baptist Church is underway. Services will be held this evening and Saturday at 6:30 with special music and preaching.
The speaker for this evening’s service is Dr. D.L. Lowrie, and preaching Saturday will be Dr. Ron Lynch.
The pastor, the Rev. Jamie Ferguson, invites the public to attend.
Doe River
The Recovery Soldiers Ministry will present a program at the Sunday morning worship service April 15 at Doe River Baptist Church.
The service will begin at 11 a.m.

First Presbyterian
The pastor, Dr. Brian Wyatt, will present the sermon “One Book, Many Voices” Sunday at the 11 a.m. worship service at First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton.
An Education Hour for all ages will be at 9:45 a.m.
Other opportunities for the week include Meditation at 7 p.m. Wednesday; the Thursdays with Jesus Reading Group from 10:30 a.m. til noon Thursday; and Yoga at 10 a.m. Friday.
