The tournament will take place on Friday, April 27. Registration will begin at 11 a.m. followed by lunch. “Chick-fil-A of Elizabethton is sponsoring our lunch,” Paulson said.

After lunch, the tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. An awards ceremony and wrap-up will be held at 5 p.m.

Several different prizes will be awarded following the tournament, Paulson said, including prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, as well as longest drive, closest to the pin, and a putting contest.

The cost to participate in the tournament is $75 per player, or $300 for a team.

“Every golfer will receive an event pullover,” Paulson said.

Sponsorship opportunities in several different levels are still available for the tournament, Paulson said.

• Title Sponsor for $2,500 — two complimentary teams, banner opportunity at registration and lunch area, special recognition on the day of the event, name recognition on multiple holes, name recognition on multiple carts, recognition on Isaiah 117 House website and Facebook.

• Support Sponsor for $1,000 — one complimentary team, special recognition on the day of the event, name recognition on one hole, name recognition on one cart, recognition on Isaiah 117 House website and Facebook.

• Team Sponsor for $500 — one complimentary team, name recognition on one hole, recognition on Isaiah 117 House website and Facebook.

• Hole Sponsor for $250 — name recognition on one hole, recognition on Isaiah 117 House website and Facebook.

• Cart Sponsor for $100 — name recognition on one cart.

Paulson founded Isaiah 117 House in 2017 as a non-profit agency to provide support and assistance to children transitioning into the foster care system as they await their foster family placement.

The non-profit raised funds last year to purchase a house to use for the program and have been working to complete needed renovations.

“We have started volunteer training and we hope to open in late June,” Paulson said.

As of May 1, Paulson will officially take over the title of Director of Isaiah 117 House following a vote by the agency’s Board of Directors to appoint her to that position.

“I have resigned from my position at Milligan College so I can devote myself full time to this ministry,” Paulson said.
