Dallas Ray Richardson

Dallas Ray Richardson, 63, of Elizabethton, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital.
A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late father, Floyd Richardson, and mother, Betty Buttery Richardson.
Dallas was retired due to disability as a machinist. He attended Sunset Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Doug Richardson.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Kristy and Richie Houghton, Elizabethton; two grandchildren, Justin and Katie Houghton; one brother and sister-in-law, Pastor Terry and Melissa Richardson, Hampton; six sisters, Donna Fritts and husband Jim, Elizabethton, Lelia Fuller and husband Bill and Vicki Fuller and husband Mark, all of Georgia, Kim Ensor and husband Mike and Linda Perkins and husband Bo, all of Elizabethton, and Tresa Jones and husband Doug, Johnson City; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Dallas Ray Richardson will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, March 30, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Terry Richardson and Dr. James Richardson officiating. Music will be provided by Vanessa Cox. Interment will follow in the Garland Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be selected from the men of Sunset Free Will Baptist Church. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Fritts, Larry Townson, Arnold Hughes, Floyd Lambert and Jim Cole. The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. Friday, prior to the service.
