Community Holy Week services begin Monday at local churches

The Carter County Ministerial Association announces special Community Holy Week services beginning Monday and continuing each day through Friday.
Monday the service will be held at noon at First Baptist Church, Elizabethton, with the Rev. Ray Amos, Pastor of First United Methodist Church, preaching.
Tuesday, the service is at noon at Valley Forge Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Todd Hallman, Pastor of First Baptist Church, preaching.
The Wednesday service will be at First United Methodist Church at noon with the Rev. Randy Johnson, pastor of Valley Forge Free Will Baptist, preaching.
A special Maundy Thursday service will be held at First United Methodist Church at 6 p.m. Thursday. Featured will be a special Maundy Thursday drama and the Lord’s Supper.
Friday, a special Good Friday service will be held at 7 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Elizabethton. Also, several other churches in the community will have a special service on Good Friday.
