CCCMF Meeting
The Carter County Christian Men’s Fellowship will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Sims Hill Christian Church.
Sonny Furrow will be the guest speaker. Following the preaching and worship service there will be a time of fellowship.

First United Methodist
First United Methodist Church of Elizabethton will continue its celebration of Lent Sunday with a message by Pastor Raymond Amos, Sr. at the morning worship service. The service begins at 9:55 a.m. and the message is titled “The Hour of Victory” based on the scripture John 12: 20-33.
Sunday School will follow at 11:20 a.m.
The 4:12 Junior High Student Ministries will meet Sunday from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. and the Senior High Ministries will meet from 5:45 to 7:30 p.m. The Coolagers will meet Wednesday at 6 p.m.
The Wednesday evening Lenten Bible Study will be at 6 p.m. in the sanctuary.

New Zion Faith Center
New Zion Faith Center, 1904 Jamestown Road, Johnson City, will celebrate Friends Day Sunday at the worship service at 3 p.m.
Elder Renee Robinson will be the guest minister and music will be by the Grace Temple Choir and the Anointed Women of God.
The pastor, Ernest E. Widby, Sr., invites all to attend.
First Christian
Minister Michael Klaus will continue his sermon series on “ONE” at morning worship Sunday at First Christian Church, Elizabethton. The service will begin at 9:45 a.m.
John Smith will give the community meditation, and scripture will be read by Debbie Hertzog. Deborah Knapp will have special music.
Bible classes will meet at 11 a.m.
The evening service is at 6 p.m. and will feature a report by the minister and Janie Broyles on the Mexican Mission Trip.
The Ladies Bible Study Group will meet Monday at 6:30 p.m. in the Fidelis Classroom.
The Tuesday morning prayer group led by John Smith will be at 10 a.m. in the sanctuary. The men of the church will attend the Carter County Christian Men’s Fellowship Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Sims Hill Christian Church.
The Wednesday evening Bible study and prayer service will be at 6 p.m. Also, the visitation team will go out at that time. Choir practice will follow the service.

St. Thomas
St. Thomas Episcopal Church will observe Palm Sunday March 25 with a procession to the Covered Bridge Park at 10 a.m.
Holy Eucharist and the Lord’s Supper will follow at 11 a.m.
The church pastor is Father Timothy Holder.
First Presbyterian
Dr. Brian Wyatt, pastor, will preach Sunday at First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton, for morning worship, which begins at 11 a.m. The theme of his message is wisdom, based on scripture from Job 28: 12-20.
An Education Hour will be at 9:45 a.m.
Other opportunities for the week include Meditation Wednesday at 7 p.m.; Thursdays with Jesus Reading Group from 10:30 a.m. to noon Thursday. The group is currently reading “The Last Week” by Marcus J. Borg and John Dominic Crossan.
Yoga is Friday from 10 a.m. to noon.

Bethlehem Lutheran
“A Life of Service” is the sermon theme for morning worship Sunday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Johnson City. The sermon text is Mark 10: 35-45.
Morning worship is at 8 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Communion will be served at both services.
Interpreted services for the deaf are available the second and fourth Sundays at the 10:45 a.m. service.
Lenten Vespers will be Wednesday at 7 p.m. The sermon theme is “Return to the Lord Who Does Not Tire Of Calling You” based on Amos 4: 6-13.

Fairview United Methodist
Squire Parsons will be in concert Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Fairview United Methodist Church, 878 Highway 81 North, five miles from downtown Jonesborough.
The concert is hosted by the Fairview United Methodist Men. There is no charge for the event.
