A group of young readers celebrated Valentine’s Day on Wednesday with some special activities during Story Time at the Elizabethton/Carter County Public Library.

Following the traditional opening march of Story Time, the children listened to Children’s Librarian Ashlee Williams read a Valentine’s themed book.

The young readers then had the opportunity to make Valentine’s Day cards of their own.

Before leaving, each of the children received a special gift from the library, their own Valentine’s themed book to take home.
