Joseph Wayne “Pap” Kincer

Joseph Wayne “Pap” Kincer, 89, of Elizabethton, Tenn., formerly of Wytheville, Va., passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018. He was the son of the late Stephen Crockett and Minnie Sult Kincer.
Joseph was a United States Army Veteran and a member of Crockett’s Tabernacle Church.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
He is survived by his daughter, Ester Lynn Kincer of Wytheville, and sons and daughters-in-law, Loyd Joseph and Becky Kincer of Wytheville, Stephen Wayne and Aimee Kincer of Draper, John Kelly and Dana Kincer of Elizabethton, Tenn., and Mark Thomas and Elaine Kincer of Wytheville. Six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 17, from the Grubb Funeral Home Chapel conducted by The Reverend Richard Collins with interment to follow in the Mt. Ephraim United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel.
