Lisa Ann Whaley Keylon, 48, of Elizabethton, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 9, 2017, at her residence.
She was born February 28, 1969 in Elizabethton to Bob Whaley of Butler and the late Shelby Jean Winters Whaley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby G. Whaley.
Lisa was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith. She was a loving wife and mother, who enjoyed gardening and fishing.
Those left to cherish her memory, in addition to her father and step-mother, Bob and Fannie Jane Whaley, Butler, include her husband, David Keylon, Elizabethton; her children, Melanie Keylon, Steven Buchanan, Matthew Keylon and wife Tiffany, Wesley Keylon, Kayla Shultz and Kendra Keylon; a special friend, Wayne Winters; her grandchildren, E.J. Malone, Kaylee Keylon, Bailey Keylon, Layla Malone and Noah Keylon; her step-brothers and sisters, Bobby Ray Whaley Jr., Patty Powers, Rachel Powers, Jennifer Ward, Ricky Reece, Sandy Moyers, James Whaley and Jason Whaley; a special mother-in-law, Mary Keylon; and a special aunt and uncle, Ruth and Mark Cooper. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
A service to celebrate the life of Lisa Ann Whaley Keylon will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 15, at Memorial Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the service. For those who prefer, memorials may be made to the Carter County Animal Shelter, P.O.
