Zaney Randolph “Randy” Taylor II, 44, of Elizabethton, passed away Friday, July 7, 2017, in Charleston, S.C.
Randy was a native of Carter County and a 1991 graduate of Unaka High School where he was on the Rangers Football Team. He attended Tennessee College of Applied Technology and was a Welder. Randy was a member of Stoney Creek Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Zaney Taylor; his step-father, Calvin Blane Quesenberry; his paternal grandparents, George and Matilda Taylor; and his maternal grandparents, Clyde and Chelsie White.
Survivors include his daughter, Haley Nicole Taylor; his step-daughter, Emily Vance; his mother, Shirley White Taylor Quesenberry; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lisa and Allen Richardson and Amy and Steve Netherly; his step-sisters, Barbara Raymond and husband John, and Sue Bebber and husband Sam; a step-brother, Calvin (Corky) Quesenberry and wife, Daphne; the mother of his daughter, Rhonda Taylor; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services for Zaney Randolph “Randy” Taylor II will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. David Foster officiating. The graveside service and interment will be at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, July 13, in the Taylor Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Unaka High School Class of 1991. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 3:45 p.m. Thursday to go to the cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at our website at www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
