As part of its goal of promoting art and creativity, Blue River Studio features the work of local artists.
During the month of July, local artist Judy Donley will have her work displayed at the studio. A special Artist Reception is scheduled for Friday, July 7, from 6-9 p.m. at the studio. The reception will give the public the opportunity to meet Donley and see some of her latest works at Elizabethton’s premier artisan gallery. Complimentary snacks will be available for guests and those attending will also have the opportunity to purchase works of art on display.
“Judy enjoys creating art and embarking on adventures all while capturing the essence of her subjects with light, form, movement, and colors,” said a statement released by the Studio regarding Donley’s work and the reception. “She has studied from Plattsburgh, N.Y., to Scotland, to Guam, and now finally in Elizabethton.”
