Big Lots announced Tuesday that it is celebrating the grand opening of its newest store in Elizabethton. The 26,627 square foot Big Lots is located at Bemberg Center at 791 Elk Ave.
As the largest broadline closeout retailer in the country, Big Lots is known nationwide for delivering a one-of-a-kind shopping experience and offering great products at an amazing value. The Elizabethton Big Lots will carry thousands of products, ranging from everyday food and consumables, seasonal products, home fashions, electronics and toys to brand-name furniture, Serta mattresses and extraordinary one-time closeouts.
“Amazing deals and an unbeatable selection of quality products — we want customers to shop Big Lots first,” said Shelley Rubin, Vice President, Advertising, Big Lots. “We are thrilled to open the Elizabethton store, show shoppers what we have to offer and let them enjoy the Big Lots experience.”
As part of the grand-opening celebration, Big Lots will make $2,000 donations to both East Side Elementary School and Harold McCormick Elementary School during its ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 26.

The new Elizabethton store will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
