• Jamie Wright, 43, 100 Idlewylde Circle, Johnson City, was arrested Thursday by Carter County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Brian Smithpeters and charged with driving under the influence and third offense driving on a suspended license.

• Tara Wright, 41, 100 Idlewylde Circle, Johnson City, was arrested Thursday by CCSO Deputy Brian Smithpeters and charged with public intoxication.

• John Holtsclaw, 21, 115 West St., Roan Mountain, was arrested Friday by CCSO Investigator Nick Andes and charged with felony evading arrest by motor vehicle, kidnapping, felony reckless endangerment, driving on a revoked license, and resisting arrest. Andes also issued Holtsclaw with citations charging him with speeding, driving an unregistered vehicle, wrong registration displayed, and violation of financial responsibility.

• Rebecca Hubbard, 34, 634 Long Hollow Road, Elizabethton, was arrested Friday by CCSO Sgt. David Tranbarger and charged with driving under the influence and driving left of center.

• Devon Baker, 20, 1181 Chinquapin Grove Road, Bluff City, was arrested Thursday by CCSO Sgt. Michael Malone on a warrant charging him with failure to appear.

• John Collins, 40, 144 Taylortown Road, Johnson City, was issued a criminal summons on Thursday by Elizabethton Police Department Officer Paul Pritchard charging him with driving on a suspended license and violation of financial responsibility.

• Nathan Avery, 26, 121 Jackson Ave., Elizabethton, was arrested Thursday by EPD Sgt. Curtis Bullock on a warrant charging him with failure to appear.
