Dorothy Marie Williams, 88, of Elizabethton, went home to be with her Lord, Saturday, March 4, 2017, at the residence of her daughter.
A native of Endicott, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Clifford Burton and Mildred Alma Morton Jenner and the granddaughter of Rev. George and Dalhia Morton.
Mrs. Williams had lived in Elizabethton since 2009, coming here from Florida. She was a retired Editorial Specialist with IBM for 28 years and a member of the IBM Quarter Century Club.
Mrs. Williams loved and attended Valley Forge Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kirk Williams.
Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Cornwell and husband Scott; a son, David M. Randall, Johnson City; two grandsons, Jeremy and Jason Randall of Florida; and five great-grandchildren, Jason Jr., Jaylen, Jaxson, Jordon and Jayden.
A Celebration of Life service for Mrs. Williams will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 19, at the Valley Forge Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Randy Johnson officiating.
