Barbara Lee Birchfield, 65, Elizabethton, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2017, at her residence. A native of Baltimore, Maryland, she was a daughter of the late Jerald & Alice Miller Hughes. She had lived in Tennessee for 40 years. Bobbie was devoted to her faith and the Lord Jesus Christ. She always was the first one to say prayers for family and friends. Her hobbies included crocheting, ceramics, jewelry making and several other crafts. She was a devoted wife and mother.

She is survived by her husband of 26 years: Roger Birchfield, Daughter & Son-In-Law: Laura & Tim Chase, a sister: Martha Hampton, also many loving nephews and a host of wonderful friends.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial Funeral Chapel. Graveside Service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2017, in the Garland Cemetery (Limestone Cove).

Active Pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday will be: David Valentine, Earl Birchfield, Jerald Hampton, Rick Hampton, Kevin Fields, and Kevin Lenden. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday to go to the cemetery.
