Troy Lee Berry

Troy Lee Berry, 75, 1546 Broad Street, Elizabethton, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2016, at the residence.
A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late Arthur and Letha Willis Berry.
Mr. Berry worked for several years in Cleveland, Ohio and retired from J & W Windows. He was of the Free Will Baptist Faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Ray Berry; two sisters, Trina Berry and Beulah White; and four brothers, Roy, William, Mack and Rev. L.D. Berry.
Survivors include two sons, Curtis and Timothy Berry, both of Elizabethton; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Stella Benfield, Morganton, N.C., Susie Sneed and Trula Berry, both of Elizabethton; two brothers, Harold Berry, North Wilkesboro, N.C., and Clifford Berry, Marion, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Troy Lee Berry will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, December 22, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Gary Whitehead officiating. Graveside services and interment will be at 2 p.m. Friday, December 23, in the Clarktown Cemetery (Tiger Creek). Active pallbearers, who are requested to assemble at the cemetery at 1:50 p.m. Friday, will be Roger Julian, Gary Milton, James Milton, John Perry, Anthony White and John Dunn. Honorary pallbearer will be Jeff Johnson. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Friends may also visit with the family at his residence.
