Foy Frank Richardson Jr.

Foy Frank Richardson Jr., 86, of Charles Town, W.Va., passed away Sunday, July 17, 2016, at Jefferson Medical Center, Ranson, W.Va. A native of Knoxville, Tenn., he was the son of the late Foy F. Richardson Sr. and Viola Sheets Richardson.
Mr. Richardson was an electronics technician and field design engineer with NASA at the Goddard Space Flight Center for over 30 years. He was a member of Mt. Rainier Christian Church in Mt. Rainier, Md.
Mr. Richardson was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was an avid golfer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Jean Collins Richardson, in 2004, and a sister, Helen Price.
Those left to cherish his memory include a daughter, Lori B. Spuria and husband John, Charles Town, W.Va.; two grandchildren, Jill Spuria and Michael Spuria; and two sisters, Betty Foust, Old Hickory, Tenn., and Frances Collins and husband Steve, Dover, Tenn. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A service to honor the life of Foy Frank Richardson Jr. will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 23, in the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral and Cremation Services with Mr. Greg Key, minister, officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Military Honors will be accorded by the Carter County Honor Guard. The family will receive friends at Hathaway-Percy Funeral and Cremation Services from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 22.
