• Dallas Hartley Jr., 53, 116 Hidden Oaks Drive, Johnson City, was arrested Wednesday by officers of the Carter County Sheriff’s Office on a warrant charging him with simple possession of Schedule IV drugs, possession of a legend drug without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• David Simerly, 31, 440 Tiger Creek Road, Roan Mountain, was arrested Thursday by CCSO Deputy Spencer Rhea on a warrant charging him with failure to appear.
• Marsha Lay, 37, 111 Parham St., Hampton, was arrested Thursday by CCSO Deputy Eric Norman and charged with domestic assault.
• Lucy Bailey, 39, 496 Rhoneys View Road, Newland, N.C., was arrested Thursday by CCSO Sgt. Nick Andes and charged with driving under the influence and driving on a revoked license.
•Jeffery Burchfield, 24, 2140 W. G St., Elizabethton, was issued a criminal summons on Thursday by Elizabethton Police Department Sgt. Shane Darling charging him with second offense driving on a revoked license, violation of financial responsibility and following too close with contact.
