Elizabethton Housing and Development Agency youth celebrated their biggest Christmas party yet with a pizza party, more bicycles given away than in any previous year and gifts for all. Santa and Mrs. Claus delivered the presents with help from their elves, the members of the Ghost Riders Motorcycle Club.
Almost 20 children received bicycles or tricycles, and others won scooters. They each submitted tickets in a drawing for the bikes and then Executive Director Kelly Geagley announced the winners.
Geagley sincerely thanked members of the GRMC and those that donated to make Christmas such a special time of year for their youth.
“This is the happiest day of the year,” said Ryan Spates, the proud owner of a new bike.
