After a long trip to Concord Christian, the Unaka Rangers were able to record their first win of the season, defeating the Lions 34-0.
The Rangers were led by Micah Hunt, who posted five touchdowns.
“It was a long trip down there,” Unaka head coach Steven McKinney said during the ride back home. “Our kids came out a little slow, but were able to pick things up in the second half. They all played really hard.”
Next up for the Rangers will be a trip to Harriman next Friday.
