Jiggystock will come to downtown Elizabethton this weekend.
Jiggystock is the second in a four-part outdoor concert series brought to the downtown by John Malone and John Seehorn, owners of Jiggy Ray’s Downtown Pizzeria.
The first concert in the series took place in July under the name Jiggyfest.
This Saturday at 4 p.m., Jiggystock will take over the downtown Bicentennial Walkway with a five-band lineup featuring Southern Rebellion, Retroville, The Antics, Gary Schwenke and Blue Carpet Corner.
The restaurant will have food and drink specials going on as well as some fun games for festival goers.
After this weekend, two concert events in the festival series will remain. Jiggyroo will be Sept. 26, and the final event, Jiggypalooza, is set for Halloween.
Tickets, which are $10, are available through the bands or can be purchased at the restaurant. Tickets will be available also at the door.
“We’re excited about putting these special events on for the customers and the city,” Malone said. “We want this to grow beyond us.”
