Marjorie R. Miller

Marjorie R. Miller died peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, June 4, 2015, at the home of her daughter in Lakeland, Fla., where she had made her home the past 10 years.
Marjorie lived an active life well into her late 90’s. She enjoyed many good times with friends and family. From State Senator’s wife, to Secretary of T.A. Dugger Jr. High School, to travels with her second husband, Hal Miller, to attending the Century 21 national conventions with her daughter at age 93, Marjorie never met a stranger.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her first husband, Herman Robinson, on February 25, 1971, and her second husband, Claude Hal Miller, on February 6, 1998.
Survivors include her son, Robert Herman Robinson Jr., Elizabethton; her daughter, Jacquelyn R. Reeser, Lakeland, Fla.; her grandchildren, Robert H. Robinson III and Susan Robinson, Dallas, Texas; and special friends, Arvella Greenwell, Ruth Ritchie and Maxine Davidson.
Marjorie was a member of First United Methodist Church, Elizabethton, and the Wesley Bible Class, when married to Hal Miller, and First Baptist Church, Elizabethton, when married to Herman Robinson.

A private burial is planned for a later date, and will be conducted by Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton. Those arrangements will be announced at a later date.
