Hampton High School will host its commencement ceremony for the Class of 2015 at 6 p.m. Friday in the school’s gymnasium.
HHS Principal Jeff Bradley expressed pride in the HHS Class of 2015.
“As we come to the end of another year, I look back and think of the many accomplishments that have been achieved by the student body and faculty,” Bradley said. “Seniors have been given the opportunity to develop the tools they need to go out into the world and be successful. It is my hope that they continue to dream and find that special motivation that drives us to be productive citizens. I wish the best for the graduates and I hope they never forget anything worth achieving takes effort.”
Eighty students will graduate this year.
The 2015 Hampton High valedictorian will be Paul Moody and the salutatorian is Maggie Burchett.
Speakers during the graduation ceremony will consist of members of the graduating class. The valedictorian and salutatorian will also give their addresses.
The HHS chorus will give a musical presentation. Student Jasmine Conner will sing “Vienna” by Billy Joel and Guinevere Adams will sing “This Little Light of Mine.”
During the graduation ceremony, HHS faculty and staff will present awards, recognize students receiving scholarships and the Top Ten Percent.
