AFTON—No problems on the road to Murfressboro up to this point for Class A state title contender Hampton.

As a matter of fact, it is on a fast track.

The Bulldogs put on an offensive spectacular in the first half in a 75-44 victory at Chuckey-Doak Tuesday night.

Cheyenne Camillo went on a tear early with four first-quarter threes and five overall in the first half to finish with 15 points. Everything was clicking for Hampton on both the offensive and defensive ends.

Basketball season at Chuckey-Doak has come in like a lamb. The Lady Knights used sisters Andi and Erica Lamb to help put away the Hampton Lady Bulldogs early.

While Andi, an all-state returnee, was dominating offensively, her freshman sister Eric turned up the pressure defensively in the Lady Knights’ rout of a very young Hampton team.
