The collegiate cross country career of Abbi Pierce is off to a spectacular start

The former Elizabethton High and current King College freshman broke her personal best in a 5K cross country event Oct. 4 at a meet in Louisville, Ky.
Pierce splattered her own personal record by 80 seconds with a time of 20:14.88.
Pierce was a very solid performer at Elizabethton under head coach Aaron Wood, reaching the state in both track and cross country.
