The Lady Jr. Blue Devils were quick to play spoiler for T.A. Dugger on Thursday night.

TAD hosted its eighth-grade appreciation night at Large Gym, but the Unicoi County Middle netters were able to record the two-set victory (25-11, 25-16) in front of a packed house in Elizabethton.
“They played a tough team,” TAD head coach Angie Barker said of her players. “They are a well-coached team with experience of girls playing travel-ball teams. We just had a few deficits we couldn’t overcome but I was proud of the way our girls fought and played.”
