Two motorcycles were reported stolen from the same apartment complex on Okolona Road this past weekend.
The first theft was reported on Saturday, Aug. 30, when Daniel Jones, 503 Okolona Road, Apt. 4, reported his motorcycle had been stolen for the second time.
Jones told Carter County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Christopher Reichenbach that his motorcycle had been stolen earlier that morning. He said it was the second time in a couple of weeks the bike had been taken.
Jones said the motorcycle had been returned and he had it at his parents’ house until he could fix it. He brought it back to his apartment on Aug. 29 around 11 p.m. and noticed it missing the next morning.
No description of the motorcycle was given.
The second theft was reported early Monday morning.
Ronald Pander Jr., 503 Okolona Road, Apt. 2, told CCSD Deputy Jason Mosier that his Harley-Davidson Ultra Classic Limited had been taken sometime between midnight and 6 a.m. on Sept. 1.
The motorcycle was described as mostly black with blue paint that fades to purple.
