Sir Elton John said it best: Saturday night is all right for fighting.

Evolution Sports Gym in Elizabethton will host the Evolution Sports Gym Combat Series this weekend that will feature over 15 fights on a loaded Pro-Am card. The event is sponsored by Evolution Sports LLC. and according to gym owner Joey Carrier, it’ll be one for the ages.

“We hosted mixed martials here last July,” Carrier said. “We’re excited about bringing MMA back to the area. We hope to get this set up to four events a year.”

While MMA takes the billing, fans will see a mixed-bag of fun on Saturday.
