Announcement is made of the engagement and forthcoming marriage of Alyssa Rose Greer and Terry William Jones Jr.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Scott and RoseMary Treadway Greer of Jonesborough. She is the granddaughter of C.L. and Wanda Greer of Elizabethton and the late Stanley and Ethel Treadway.

Alyssa is a 2010 graduate of Providence Academy, Johnson City, and a 2014 magna cum laude graduate of MTSU with a degree in Horse Science and Business. She will be attending ETSU in the fall to receive her Accounting Degree.

Her fiancé is the son of Terry and Kim Jones of Jonesborough. He is the grandson of Kyle and Carol Clayman of Bristol and Terry and Elna Jones of Jonesborough. He is the great-grandson of Lena Jones.

Terry is a 2009 graduate of University High, Johnson City. He is attending ETSU with a Major in Business and is serving with the U.S. Army Reserves. Terry served in Afghanistan and is currently serving in Alaska. He is employed with J.C. Kubota.

The couple will be married in a private wedding ceremony at Harvest Acres Farm, Limestone, on Saturday, August 2, 2014, at 6 p.m.
